Dave Ross

Started his movement studies as a martial artist at age 14 and is a second degree black belt in Uechi Ryu Karate. After many years in the martial arts he decided to practice Yoga to save his body from wear and tear. Dave has been practicing Bikramand Vinyasa flow Yoga for the past twelve years and teaching yoga for the last three years. He is currently teaching Raw Fit Restorative Yoga at  Master Al's PANTH3RS Raw Fit Studio in Suffern, NY. Dave is the creator of"Bethesda chair yoga", a highly successful class which is specially designed for seniors. He is also a certified Lean Body Barre Yoga instructor. From 2014 to 2016 Dave was a yoga instructor and Music Therapist for adults and seniors as well as a professor adjunct at Northern State University’s music department in Aberdeen,South Dakota. Dave’s vast talents include a degree in engineering design, on a full scholarship, and a BM in professional music degree from Berklee College of music in Boston, MA. In 1994 he won a Boston Music Award for his work with the funk band CHUCK. In 2013 he received a residence grant from The Creative Music Studio which was founded by Ornette Coleman and Karl Berger and he remains an active member. For the last six years Dave has played with Free Jazz legend William Hooker and is the guitarist on William's iconic "Channels of Consciousness" recording on No Business Records. Today Dave is continuing to grow as a performing musical artist with the creation of his first opera " Dove Joy " , as an educator in movement with Shakabliss duo and in yoga as a practicing instructor.

Shlomit Oren Ross

A multicultural artist and expressive arts healer. Half Colombian and
half Israeli her travels and exploration of cultural diversity in the world awakened her curiosity and openness. She believes that movement and dance are a universal language which allows us to express and communicate with each other in a transcendental manner. Shlomit began belly dancing in Israel at the age of 15. After serving in the Israeli Air force for two years she moved to New York at age 21 to become a professional physical actress. She graduated from the only Broadway theater conservatory, Circle in the Square Theater School, in 2012. She toured for 8 months as a clown and professional hula hooper with the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey circus. In the summer of 2014 Shlomit was honored to belly dance for the President of Namibia, Africa as part of the Women's Action for Development 20th Anniversary Gala. Shlomit has a BS in Psychology from Northern State University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. While at NSU, Shlomit was president of PSI CHI the International Honor Society in Psychology. In the summer of 2016 she spent 3 weeks studying at Dell'Arte International School of physical Theater. She has a deep passion for working with children and is the creator of Imaginative Dance, a unique class in which she combines all her skills to help children cultivate their imagination and develop a strong sense of self through artistic expression. Shlomit is the co-owner and creator of Gleeful Wellness, a company that specializes in uplifting Senior Services. Shlomit is a certified bellydance, PiYo, Lean Body Barre, Zumba and Yoga instructor. She has developed her own unique classes and workshops such as Free Self—a Dance Meditation, BellyYoga, and more. Shlomit’s most recurrent workshop, "The Body Language of Confidence" has been specifically modified for finance professionals, actors, dancers, college students, Yogis and Midwestern women. Shlomit is passionate about exploring the kinesthetic realm in all its forms, as well as empowering women and children.
